After you have signed up for Medialister, you will end up in the automatically created campaign, where you’ll be able to manage placements. You can see the step-by-step guide prompting you on what to do next to publish your first content.

1st Step: Booking

On the first step, go to the marketplace and choose a media where you want to be published. Use filters and sorting options to find media that suits your current needs. Click on a chosen media to open the page with all the details, and then on the right side, you can start the booking process.

On Medialister, we use the booking system, which means that you pay only after your content is successfully published. Before that, your money is put on hold on your account balance. When you go through the booking process, you can start with the second step—the text submission.

2nd Step: Text Submission

Open a campaign from the dashboard and look for the recently booked placements in the very left column. Click on the editing button or the placement card itself to add some content for submission.

In this step, make sure you follow the placement conditions, which can also be found inside the card.

Now, add the content, including links and images, in the text editor. The savings happen automatically.

When the text is ready, send it to the media to start the review process.

3rd Step: Content Review

You can see that the placement card was automatically moved to the next column for review. For now, just wait till it’s done. Usually, it happens in a few hours.

If the provided content follows the conditions and is well-written, you have no worries about rejection. However, if the content has not passed the review, you can find it in the TO MAKE CHANGES column.

Once the review is done, the media will publish your content shortly (or according to the deadline or embargo if you set it). All you need now is to finish the last step.

4th Step: Approve

If your content was published online, you can see it in the ARTICLES TO APPROVE column. Check the link and what the article looks like. If everything is fine, approve it. If not, request additional changes via the chat in the placement card.

After you’ve approved the published article, the money will be sent to the media, and the order will be marked as published and put into the last column of the campaign.
