How to add a media on Medialister

Adding and listing media on Medialister is quick and straightforward. Follow the steps below to set up your publisher account (media manager dashboard) and make your formats available to clients.

How to Access the Media Manager Dashboard?

When signing up, select the option "As a Media Manager" in the questionnaire flow, and you will be redirected directly to the media addition process.

If you are in the client dashboard, from the top-right profile menu, select "Switch to Media Manager." If you have no media yet, you’ll be guided to the media setup flow. Otherwise, you’ll land on your Media Manager Dashboard.

How to Add More Media

Once in the Media Manager view, you’ll see an option to add your first media:

  1. Click "Add Media" (or the equivalent button).

  2. Provide your website URL (e.g., https://example.com).

  3. Enter essential details (media name, type, location, category).

  4. Check the preview and click "Continue."

TIP
The system will fetch third-party SEO and traffic data after you submit your media URL.

How to Add Formats?

Formats represent the types of placements you want to offer (e.g., Interview, Article, Paid News).

To add a format, go to the media settings by clicking the cog icon in the top right corner or access the media menu by clicking the three-dot button on the right side of a media item in the table.

For each format:

  1. Choose a format type (for example, Press Release or Paid News).

  2. Set the net price you want to earn. Medialister will apply its fees on top.

  3. Define conditions (e.g., number of links, whether images are allowed, etc.).

You can add multiple formats per media.

How to List/Delist Formats in the Marketplace?

Once you’ve created at least one format, you’ll see it in the media settings. Click the three-dot button and choose the "List" or "Delist" option to list or delist a format.

To list or delist all formats for a specific media at once, go to the media manager dashboard and locate the media table. Click the three-dot button next to the desired media and select the appropriate option to list or delist all formats.

If your verification is in progress, you won't be able to list any of your offers. You can still add or edit formats, but listing them could be locked until verification completes.

How to Verify an Organization?

Your media won't be listed in the marketplace until the verification is complete. Medialister uses Stripe Connect for Know-Your-Business (KYB). After adding a media, the system will ask for the country where the business is legally located. Once you click "Start Verification," everything will proceed through the Stripe KYB.

How to Invite Media Managers?

Click "Invite" in the header of the media manager dashboard to invite a new media manager. Invited members will be able to manage media, formats, and process orders.
